Who Qualifies To Get A Bursary Or College Student Loan From NSFAS?



The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.

Applications at the moment are open and may shut on fifteen December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must satisfy the following requirements:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a home by using a combined gross household earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.

• People with disabilities qualify if their combined home profits isn't going to exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need not submit any evidence of earnings.
